Adra Bolt

Adra L. Bolt, 80, of Marion, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Marion General Hospital. Born December 3, 1936 in Ashland, KY, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Madelyn (Horn) Clark. On September 24, 1955 in Ashland, KY, she married her husband of nearly 50 years, David B. Bolt and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sons, Edward and Todd Bolt. A devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother, Adra worked at Checkmate in Bucyrus and in her later years she cleaned homes. She attended Calvary Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed to crochet. Surviving are her children, John (Becky) Bolt of Marysville, Libby (Jim) Lister of Marion and Monica (Jim) Gentry of Hitchcock, TX; grandchildren, Shane Thacker, Jason Bolt, Carrie Bolt, Kent Peavy, Corrin Peavy, Rick Hudgel and Amie Miller; several great grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (Doris) Clark of Ashland, KY and her faithful companion, Zulu. In keeping with Adra's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services held and burial will take place at a later date with her husband in the Bolt Family Cemetery in Boltsfork, KY.
