Alice M. Waltzer, 87, of West Mansfield, entered her heavenly mansion, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born November 5, 1929 in Logan County, she was the daughter of the late Asa and Frances (Sloan) Titus. Also preceding her in death was a son, Larry Waltzer, sisters-in-law, Ida Henry and Ethel Jackson and brothers-in-law, Dewey Ford, Bill Bialecki, Jim Copp and Paul Ramsey. A loving homemaker to her family, she would often help her husband do plastering and babysat many of the grandchildren, great grandchildren and other children of the neighborhood. Alice and Herman were also dedicated volunteers for the Friends Disaster Relief Organization which carried them all over the country helping those in need. A 1947 graduate of Ridgeway High School, she was a member of the former Friends Church in West Mansfield and enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles, word searches, gardening, woodworking, refinishing old furniture and interior decorating in general. On June 12, 1948 in Zanesfield, she married her husband of over 68 years, Herman Waltzer and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Tina Dill of West Mansfield, Tony (Gina) Waltzer of Bellefontaine, Tami (Kenny) Kline of East Liberty and Teresa (Steve) Fields of West Mansfield; grandchildren, Jason (Andrea) Keller, Jordan (Julie) Keller, Nick Waltzer, Lucas (Michelle) Waltzer, Tyler (Sabrina) Venture, Bryant Dill, Nate (Lisa) Fields and Caitie Fields; great grandchildren, Lahna Keller, Llewyn Keller, Aly Reames, Lexi Reames, Aiden Keller, Hudson Keller, Eli Keller and Isabel Fields; sisters, June Ford, Audrey Copp-Ramsey and Eula Bialecki; sister-in-law, Glenna (Gordon) Wyandt; brothers-in-law, Marion Keith Henry and Bob Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews.. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 6, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home-Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield. Reverend Doug Copp will officiate and burial will follow at Zanesfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the funeral home.
