Annette Porschet

Annette Porschet, 83, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Bluebird of Marysville.

A 1959 graduate of Northwestern High School in Raymond, she helped tend to the family farm, along with her husband Harold. She was known for her selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. A woman of faith, Annette attended the Raymond United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking care of the Herford cattle, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching them grow up. 

Born November 24, 1941 in Westerville, she was the daughter of the late Carlton and Eloise (Watt) Trapp. On September 9, 1962 at the Raymond United Methodist Church, she married her loving husband of over 46 years, Harold G. Porschet, and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2009. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Anbra Mae; and her brothers-in-law, Edsel Dotson and Marvin Porschet.

Annette is survived by her children, Kim (Parker) Moffett of Peoria, Michael (Carla) Porschet of Marysville, Donald (Margaret) Porschet of Crofton, MD and Rachel (Gary Wilson) Clay of Middleburg; grandchildren, Caitlin (Steven) Rockwood, Austin, McKala (Zachary) Johnson, Brian, Brandon, Mairead, Connor, Felecia (Nathan) Jones, Quinten and Sierra; great grandchildren, Makinzie, Carson, Henry, Evelyn, Isaiah, Samuel, Grace, Camron and Summer; her sisters, Joan Porschet and Pattsy Dotson, both of Richwood, and her brother, Bud (Jeannie) Trapp of Marysville; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Annette’s wishes, no calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Broadway Cemetery.
