Arthur M. Loschky, age 95, of Marysville died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Memorial Gables surrounded by his family. He was a lifetime dairy and grain farmer on the same farm where he was born and raised and was still a partner in the dairy farm, Arlosy Inc. with his grandson, Robert Bouic. Art had been a breeder of Holstein cattle for many years and was a member of the Holstein Association, served as president of the board of directors for NOBA, was a member of the Union County Farm Bureau, the Union County Landmark Board, the District Holstein Club and the Union County Dairy Service Unit. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church serving as the first Sunday school superintendent. He graduated from Darby Rural High School in 1936. He enjoyed sports, music, and traveling. He was fortunate to visit all 50 states with his second wife, Marge, and they enjoyed 18 winters in Florida. He was born May 1, 1919 in Marysville on the family farm on State Route 38 to the late Mathias and Magdalene Scheiderer Loschky. He was preceded in death his sisters, Margaret Rausch and Harriet Nicol. He married Estella A.E. Doellinger on April 26, 1941, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, and she preceded him in death on August 28, 1983. He is survived by his second wife of 30 years, Marjorie Schmidt George Loschky, to whom he was married on January 4, 1985, at St. Paul Lutheran Church; a daughter: Phyllis (Donald) Bouic, Ostrander; 2 step-sons: Fredrick George, Milford Center; and Tony (Sue) George, Irwin; 4 Grandchildren: Robert (Angelique) Bouic, Milford Center; Susan (Randall) Jackson, Dublin; Janice (Brian) Barrett, Newburgh, IN and Cheryl (Timothy) Redfern, Orange County, CA; 4 Step-grandchildren: P.J. (Beth) George, Plain City; Amy Wood, Marysville; Justin George, Irwin; and Letitia George, Irwin; 14 Great-grandchildren; and a great, great granddaughter. Services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Reverend Paul Schlueter and Reverend Jerry Doellinger will officiate and burial will take place at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3 and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Mannasmith Funeral Home.
