Barbara Patterson

Barbara S. Patterson Barbara S. Patterson, age 77, of Salisbury, Maryland, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at her home. She was the business owner of Mary McGregger and American Crewel & Canvas. She loved needlepoint, traveling and reading. She was a member of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Embroiderer's Guild and American Needlepoint Guild (ANG) and was a graduate of Northwestern Local High School. She was born June 7, 1933, in Marysville to the late James and Jeanne Cashell Anderson. She married William Patterson on August 5, 1953, at the Raymond United Methodist Church, and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2010. She was also preceded in death by a son, Wick Patterson. Survivors include her daughter, Lucinda S. Gosling and Jim Patterson, each of Salisbury, MD; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Bob Anderson and Steve (Helena) Anderson, each of Marysville; and Mike Anderson and Chris Anderson, each of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Mannasmith Funeral Home. Reverend Doug Flinn will officiate a graveside service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Raymond Cemetery.
