Beulah Margaret "Boots" Gwilliams Beulah Margaret "Boots" Gwilliams, 99, died Monday, December 8, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born May 31, 1915 in Amherstdale, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Esau and Anna Laura (Hensley) Songer. On February 20, 1932 in Catlettssburg, KY, she married Waldo Emerson Gwilliams, Sr and he preceded her in death in 1967. A loving homemaker and active member, for 62 years, of the Raymond Church of Christ in Christian Union where she formerly taught Sunday School and was involved in the Ladies Missionary, she loved to attend any activity involving her grandchildren, spending time in her flower garden, where she won 1st place several times at Windsor Court, was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for family and friends. Surviving are her children, Joyce Peck of Marysville, Nyla (Richard) Bowersmith of Marysville, William "Bill" Gwilliams of Haines City, FL, Judy (Doug) Barnes of Garland, TX, Roger "Jit" (Sandie) Gwilliams of Marysville, David (Karen) Gwilliams of Raymond and Nancy Roosa of Seminole, FL; daughters-in-law; Carol and Wanda Gwilliams; 26 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; the Coleman and Eufinger families, which were her extended families; good friend, Bonnie Galloway and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Richard Bruce and Waldo Emerson, Jr, a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Gwilliams, a granddaughter, Melody (Hall) Engle and 2 great grandsons, Kyle Hopkins and Zachary Gwilliams, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Raymond Church of Christ in Christian Union with Reverend Warren Goble officiating. Burial will follow in the Raymond Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Mannasmith Funeral Home.
