Delores J. Baker, 86, of Marysville, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family after months of failing health.
A graduate of Milford Center High School, she worked at Ranco for a short time before moving on to Ray Lewis and Sons where she worked as an inspector for 41 years. She enjoyed working in her flowers beds, fishing and going to car shows, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Born September 20, 1932 in Milford Center, she was the daughter of the late Martine Shier and Evelyn Faye Brown. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Ray Baker; stepfather, Lester Robinson; a great great grandson and 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Leo M. (Karen) Baker, William L. (Becky) Baker and Robert E. Baker all of Marysville; grandchildren, Brian (Judy) Baker, Dustin (Kimberly) Baker, Jeremy Baker, Kristoffer (Kathy) Baker, James Baker, Tim Baker and Julie (Tony) Perry; step grandchildren, Brandi (Lucas) Rausch and Kristina (Cody) Martindale; 28 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; a brother, James Robinson of Fremont, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
