Donna Mackey

Donna G. Mackey, 68, of Marysville, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A 1966 graduate of Marysville High School, she was an accounts payable clerk with Parker Hannifin for 41 years. Donna enjoyed reading, playing Soduko and making ceramics, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and being a grandma. Born October 25, 1948 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Twyla "Polly" (Huffman) Tull. On October 4, 1968 in Richwood, she married her husband of 48 years, James Mackey. Donna is survived by her mother, Polly; her husband, James; sons, Jamie (Kodie) Mackey, Chad Mackey; grandchildren, AJ, Camryn, Noah and Faith Mackey; a sister, Debbie McCarty; a brother, Alfred Tull; a brother-in-law, Max "Jeff" (Bev) Mackey all of Marysville; nieces and a nephew and her beloved dogs, whom she referred to as "her babies," Shelby and Shadow. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Burial will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Loving care Hospice or the Union County Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
