Eleanor Marie Heizer Butler Eleanor Marie Heizer Butler, age 84, of Marysville died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at her home following a short illness. A longtime, faithful member of the Raymond Church of Christ in Christian Union, Eleanor served as the Young Children's Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and facilitated the Ladies Fellowship Group. She was retired from Bushong's Garden Center & Nursery and through the years had also worked at Chenille Products, Carney's Five and Dime, and drove school bus for Harold Lewis School. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, quilting, and sewing and especially appreciated bird watching and flower gardening. She possessed a loving spirit and a warm smile and was always ready to give a hug. She treasured the love of her family and the companionship of her cat, Chloe. She was born July 18, 1928, in South Vienna to the late George Edward and Elizabeth Dora Redmond Heizer. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Dora Woods and Anna Schmelzer, and a brother, George Heizer. Survivors include her husband of 43years, Paul Timothy "Tim" Butler, to whom she was married on June 8, 1969, at her home; her children, Brenda (Garland) Walls, Chillicothe; Sharon (Allan) Anderson, Johnson City, TN; and Lee (Molly) Hundley, Raymond; 5 grandchildren, Alisha Walls Ford, Shawn (Angela) Walls, Rena (Aaron) Maus, Amy (A.J.) Orr, and Brett Hundley; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Phyllis (Raleigh) Oliver, West Mansfield; and Mary (Glenn) Wagner, East Liberty; 6 brothers, James (Annabelle) Heizer, Forest; Kenneth (Kay) Heizer, Wichita, KS; Pearl (Gaile) Heizer, Nashville, TN; Robert (Flo) Heizer, Mount Vernon; Fred Heizer, Grove City; and Tom (Ellen) Heizer, Claibourne; many nieces and nephews; and her church family. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at the Raymond Church of Christ in Christian Union where the funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Reverend Warren Goble will officiate and burial will take place Monday, August 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Union Township Cemetery, Milford Center.
