Eric Smith

Eric C. Smith, 68, of Plain City, died Monday, December 5, 2016 at his residence. Eric earned Bachelor Degrees in Geological Engineering and Accounting and worked in both fields. He liked music and played multiple instruments. Eric had a great sense of humor, enjoyed reading and was an avid collector. Born January 8, 1948 in Stamford, CT, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Marguerite (Prentice) Smith. He is survived by an aunt, Lois Prentice of Sausalito, CA; an uncle, Samuel S. Prentice of Odessa, FL; a cousin, Jeffrey Smith of Wolfeboro, NH; a brother-in-law, James Hyjek of Ottawa, ON; relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. A memorial service will be held during the gathering at 7:00 P.M.
