George Bliss II

George C. Bliss, II, 73, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Memorial Hospital of Union County. He had an amazing work ethic. He worked at Union County Industries more than 20 years, rarely missing a day. He even worked the day before he passed. He was a resident at the Gables for over 20 years. He truly loved being at both the Gables and Union County Industries. He also enjoyed watching the old TV shows. Born March 24, 1945 in Cleveland, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Friihauf) Bliss, Sr. He is survived by his brother, Charles J. (Carol) Bliss of Marysville; a sister, Elizabeth "Lani" Duke of Shreveport, LA; nieces and nephews, Joe (Tara) Bliss, Holly (James) Jones, Kevin Bliss, Ashley Bliss and Calvin Duke and his great niece and nephews, Hunter and Madison Bliss and Maxwell and Jacob Jones. Friends may call from 4-6 P.M. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Jack Knox will officiate graveside services at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Broadway Cemetery.
