Gerry Lynne Waugh, 77, of Marysville, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at O.S.U. East Hospital in Columbus following a brief illness.
A devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother, she loved being a homemaker to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, loved traveling to Golf Shores and truly loved her chocolates.
A graduate of Bokescreek Local High School in West Mansfield, Gerry worked in bookkeeping for 23 years. She was a longtime member of the West Mansfield United Methodist Church where she served as financial secretary, played piano and was active in the choir and the United Methodist Women.
Born January 4, 1943 in Kenton, she was the daughter of the late Lowell and Marion (Dozer) Fogle. On December 16, 1961 at the Methodist Church in West Mansfield, she married her husband of nearly 57 years, Sanford E. "Sandy" Waugh and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2018. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded death by her sister, Gwendolyn Sue Walters.
Gerry is survived by her sons, Rick Waugh of West Mansfield, Randall (Chris) Waugh of Lakeview and Regan (Shelly) Waugh of Plainfield, IN, grandchildren, Olivia, Heath, Mekayla, Cole, Harli, Lindsi, Mallori, Alec and Karlee Waugh; great grandchildren, Avery, Ryder, William, Marcella, Micah Hayden and Paisley Grace; a brother Daren Jay Fogle; a sister, Cynthia Kay Culver and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in West Mansfield. A luncheon will follow at the West Mansfield United Methodist Church.
