Jack E. Williamson, a kind-hearted man with a great sense of humor, passed away on April 24, 2025, at Doctor's West Hospital in Columbus, following several years of failing health. Born on December 11, 1959, in Columbus, Jack was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend whose warmth touched the lives of many.
A proud 1978 graduate of Central High School in Columbus, Jack dedicated his professional life to working as a Fork Lift Operator with the Frecker Ice Cream Company in Columbus. His colleagues appreciated his work ethic and friendly demeanor, traits that also flourished in his personal life.
Jack cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will be held close by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Williamson, and his son, Joseph (Alayah) Williamson. He was also a cherished brother to Peggy Reynolds, Vickie Tucker, Donnie Tanner, and David Dingess, each of whom will remember him fondly.
Jack now joins his deceased family members, including his father, John Williamson, his mother, June Tanner, his daughter, Jennifer Williamson, and his sister, Shirley Riley. They will undoubtedly welcome him with open arms, adding to the warm memories they once shared.
Jack's passions included being an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He found joy in the beauty of sunflowers in bloom and had a unique hobby of collecting garden gnomes. His vibrant interests were a reflection of his lively spirit.
In keeping with Jack's wishes, no calling hours will be observed. A graveside service will be held at the Oakdale Cemetery on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM with Reverend Jeremy Stout officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Wilson Funeral Home 621 W. Fifth St. Marysville.
