James A. Jarvis, 38, of Richwood, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness and surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was fun-loving, ornery, and loved making people laugh. He enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, working on cars and mud running.
Born December 12, 1976 in Delaware, he was the son of Paul and Debbie (Elsbree) Jarvis and they survive in Marysville. Also surviving are his sister, JoAnn (Jason) Arnold of Richwood; his niece, Alora Jarvis; his nephew, Nathaniel Arnold; his very special friend and the love of his life, Amanda McKinney of Richwood and her children whom he thought of as his own, Autumn, Emmalee and Dakota.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Mannasmith Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Rhea officiating. Friends may call from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Association or Loving Care Hospice in care of the funeral home and condolences may be sent to the family at www.mannasmithfuneralhome.com
