Jamie S. Crossman, 36, of Marysville, died Wednesday evening, December 5, 2018 at Memorial Hospital after many years of failing health, with her family by her side. A devoted wife and loving mother, she was a strong Christian and a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church where she also helped with the church website. She was an online missionary for Campus Crusade for Christ, enjoyed scrapbooking and anything with computers, and playing games, especially board games with her kids. She even got to see the ocean for the first time just five years ago on a special family vacation. A 2000 graduate of New Richmond High School, she formerly worked as a home health aide, at Honda of America and at Taco Bell. Born August 26, 1982 in Columbus, she was the daughter of David and Darlene (Cox) Ruckman. Her father preceded her in death. On August 7, 2004 she married Chris A. Crossman and he survives in Marysville. She is also survived by her children, Arianna and Cayden; mother and stepfather, Darlene (Steven) Weigum of Richwood; her adopted father, Frank McClure; a sister, Kandi Roward of Galipolis; three half-brothers; a half-sister; three special nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and church family. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 10, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church. Reverend Jeremy Stout will officiate and burial will follow at Claibourne Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Campus Crusade for Christ in care of the funeral home.
