Josephine Anna Wulff Josephine Anna Wulff, age 97, of Marysville died peacefully Friday, August 26, 2011, at The Gables at Green Pastures with her family at her side. A loving homemaker, she was a beloved matriarch who served as a source of great pride for her family. She was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was confirmed on April 10, 1927 and was active with the Ladies Aid and the Valpo Guild. She graduated from Chuckery Darby High School in 1931 and was a member of the girls basketball team. Josephine enjoyed quilting and playing cards and especially enjoyed being with all of her friends and family get-togethers. She was born September 7, 1913, on Robinson Road in Darby Township to the late Leonard and Caroline Rausch Nicol. She married Werner John Wulff on June 23, 1935, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, and he preceded her in death on January 29, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Marshall, a great-grandson, Darrin Blumenschein, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Hilda (Alfred) Asman, Minnie (Lawrence) Blinn, Irene (Robert) Coleman, Erna (Edwin) Rausch, and Miriam Goff; her brother, Harold Nicol, and a brother-in-law, Ed Croft. Survivors include her children, Kenneth (Nancy) Wulff, Valley City; Warren (Shirley) Wulff, East Liberty; and Mary Lou (Dennis) Blumenschein, Marysville; her son-in-law, Roger Marshall, Marysville; 5 grandchildren, John Marshall, Kevin Wulff, Andrew (Katie) Blumenschein, Daniel (Aimee) Blumenschein, and Stacey (Sal) D'Aquila; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Croft, Salem, OR; a brother-in-law, Loren Goff, Marysville; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her church family. Friends may call from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville. Reverends John Fair and Dennison Goff, Mrs. Wulff's nephew, will officiate the funeral service on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church.
