Larry D. Dunham

Larry D. Dunham, 63, of Rowsburg and formerly of West Mansfield, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his residence.

Never one to sit still, Larry was always “working on,” “fixing” or “tinkering” with something. In his younger years, he enjoyed working on cars and was an adult leader with the Boy Scouts while his son was involved. Having a love for the outdoors, he enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing. He also enjoyed puzzles, watching old westerns, making tie blankets and listening to classic rock music, especially from the 70’s. He was an excellent cook, with his specialty being breakfast.  His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren and spoiling them as much as possible.

Larry worked in the maintenance department at the former Charles Machine/American Auger, and now Toro.

Born September 29, 1959 in Ashland, he was the son of the late Morrell and JoAnn (Barker) Dunham. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Dunham.

On October 8, 1988 in Loudonville, he married his wife of nearly 35 years, Angela Lou (Sellers) Dunham and she survives in West Mansfield. He is also survived by his son, Nathan (Steph) Dunham of West Mansfield and Kayla (Payton) Conrad of West Mansfield; grandchildren, Leah, Chloe and Mara Conrad, and Freyja Dunham; and his sisters, Brenda (Mark) Murphy of Delaware, Susan (Steven) Kaye of Cincinnati, Carol (Lyle) Hess of Rowsburg and Julie (Michael) Feliciano of Ashland; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.

In Keeping with Larry’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A Celebration of his Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Union Baptist Church Fellowship Hall 16623 OH-739 Richwood.
