Larry E. Ray, 75, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness.
A member of Bible Baptist Church, he was also a member of the Road Riders for Jesus where he served as President for 8 years. Larry loved fishing and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed woodworking and watching his fishing shows on TV. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and worked as a fork lift operator with Dennison Hydraulics for 45 years, retiring in 2012.
Born May 29, 1946 in Kenton, he was the son of the late James and L. Marie (Davidson) Ray.
On March 20, 1975 in Marysville, he married his wife of over 46 years, Patti L. (Cooper) Ray, and she survives in Marysville. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a son, Larry Eugene (Cathy) Ray, Jr; a daughter, Jacqueline (Brian) Ray; a granddaughter, Angel Darlene Ray and sisters, Eilene Chamberlain of Kenton and Crystal Ray of Marysville.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes, no calling hours will be held. Pastor Jeremy Stout will conduct graveside services at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Oakdale Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to the Road Riders for Jesus in care of the funeral home.
