Lillian Lyons

Lillian Isabelle Lyons Lillian Isabelle Lyons, age 80, of Bellefontaine died unexpectedly Friday, August 5, 2011, in the ER at Mary Rutan Hospital. A loving homemaker, she was a graduate of McCutcheonville High School. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and especially enjoyed travelling with her husband. She was born February 25, 1931, in McCutcheonville to the late Clarence and Mary Taylor Cochenour, Sr. She married Robert Lyons on September 18, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1996. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clarence Cochenour, Jr. and Johnny Cochenour. Survivors include her 3 children, Mike (Rose) Lyons, West Mansfield; Rosemary Smith, Daytona Beach, FL; and Pam Jones, Edgewater, FL; 8 grandchildren, Mary (Kevin) Puckett, Michelle Bailey, Melissa (Jon) Heizer, Stacy Smith, Nicole Smith, Adam Smith, Christie Jones, and Robert Jones; 7 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Cierra, Eligh, Steven, Melinda, Emily, and Hayden; and a sister-in-law, Twyla Tweed, Tupelo, MS. Pastor Floyd Lundy will conduct a graveside service on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Claibourne Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed.
