Lucille Stanley Lucille Stanley, age 88, of East Liberty died peacefully Sunday morning, April 3, 2011, at Green Hills Nursing Center, West Liberty. A loving homemaker and devoted farmer's wife, Lucille was a lifetime member of East Liberty Church of Christ. She found great enjoyment in being active with her church and over the years taught Sunday school for 30 years, was a 20 year member of the Missionary Committee, and was a member of the Ladies Aid. A 1940 graduate of East Liberty High School, Lucille was a charter member of the Silver Circle of Kings Daughters, West Mansfield, and was a 40 year member of the Logan County Agrarian Club. She loved visiting with friends and family and enjoyed games of all types, especially bridge and euchre. She will be remembered as an outstanding cook and for always helping others in need. She was born April 29, 1922, in East Liberty to the late Raymond and Ethel Bode Hatcher. She married Roe Stanley on July 19, 1941, in South Carolina, and he preceded her in death on February 13, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harlan Hatcher. Survivors include her daughters, Janet (Bob) Clapsaddle and Pam (Dave) Wilson, each of East Liberty; 4 grandchildren, Janel (Neil Tennant) Hall, Janae (Brian) Mulvaine, Matt (Shawndel) Wilson, and Tim (Debra) Wilson; 5 great-grandchildren, Henry & Hugo Tennant, Conner Mulvaine, and Ashley & Erica Wilson; 2 sisters-in-law, Virginia Stanley, West Mansfield; and Eleanor Colvin, Hawthorne, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the East Liberty Church of Christ. Dr. Jason Robson will officiate. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery.
