Margaret Ann Rogers passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, at the age of 87 in Chapin, South Carolina.
Born on December 18, 1938, Margaret lived a life marked by a fervent passion for bowling and a competitive spirit in golf, which brought joy and numerous friendships throughout her years. Margaret's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as the owner of West Milton Lanes, a local bowling alley where she spent many of her happiest moments. Her love for the game was not just about the sport but also about the community and camaraderie it built.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her son Greg (Brian) Rogers, daughter Jackie Rogers, and sister Linda (Bob) Tanner. Margaret was a cherished grandmother to Nicole (Daniel) Hubbard, Kyra (Chris) Bellinger, Christina (Mike) McBride, and Zach (Courtney) Rogers. She also adored her great- grandchildren Kyleigh, Cooper, Blaine, Abbi, Austin, and Margot.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Rogers, son, Tad Rogers, and a grandson, Casey Rogers.
Margaret's life was a testament to her resilience and the deep bonds she forged with those around her. Her legacy of enthusiasm and competitiveness will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Services will immediately follow at 4:00 P.M.
