Mary Binkley Mary Binkley, age 80, of Middleburg died Friday, April 6, 2012, in the ER at Memorial Hospital of Union County. She was retired from the Food Service Department at Doctors North Hospital where she worked from 1950-1980. Upon her retirement, she worked in the Flea Market Business at the Amos Shopping Center, Columbus. She enjoyed gardening and visiting with her friends. She was born April 30, 1931, in Middleburg to the late Sherman and Biancia Breese Kerns. She married Stanley Ritter on January 12, 1957, and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1984. She then married Howard Binkley on June 21, 1985, and he preceded her in death on December 3, 1989. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lewis and Leroy Kerns, a sister, Julie Cordrey, 2 half-sisters, Elizabeth Foulk and Norma Morris, and 4 half-brothers, Orville Kerns, Harold Kerns, Victor Kerns, and Robert Foulk. Survivors include 2 sisters, Katherine Hoover, a resident of The Gables, and Margaret Brooks, Milford; 2 brothers, Ralph (Eloise) Kerns, Jasper, TN; and Sherman (Linda) Kerns, North Lewisburg; her best friends, Rebecca Levine and Clara Hoffine, Westerville; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012, at Mannasmith-Schnurrenberger Funeral Home, West Mansfield, where the funeral service will take place beginning at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Steven Brown will officiate and burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery.
