Michael Kerns

Michael Philip Kerns, 53, of Bellefontaine, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.
An avid bowler with the Special Olympics, Michael loved to draw, color, do math problems, watch Sesame Street and the movie Fantasia, listen to gospel music and eat Jello.
He worked at RTC Industries in Bellefontaine for many years.
Born November 21, 1966 in Kenton, he was the son of Larry and Posie (Spitler) Kerns. His father preceded him in death along with his Grandma and Grandpa Kerns and Grandma and Grandpa Spitler.
Michael is survived by his mother, Posie Kerns of West Mansfield and his brothers, Stacy Kerns of West Mansfield and David Kerns of Urbana.
Due to the COVID-19 Restrictions, the family will hold a private graveside service Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the Hathaway Cemetery in West Mansfield. No public calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are being handled for the family by Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield. Memorial contributions can be made to the RTC Industries 36 County Rd 32 S, Bellefontaine, OH 43311 or in care of the funeral home.
