Norma Jean Bright Norma Jean Bright, age 75, of Pharisburg died Saturday, November 10, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. A hard working woman, Norma had served as an STNA with Delaware Court Nursing Home and formerly worked for several local restaurants through the years. Affectionately known as "Granny", Norma was loved and adored by her entire family. She enjoyed bingo, knitting, and crossword puzzles and was a fan of NASCAR and Jeff Gordon, John Wayne, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She always enjoyed a game of cards with friends, but was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren. She was born December 17, 1936, in Delaware to the late Clarence and Dorothy Louck Organ. She married John "Noonie" Bright on September 19, 1953, in Liberty, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Bright, a granddaughter, Carrie Sue Diehl, and a former daughter-in-law, Marcia Bright. Survivors include her children, Carol Bright and her significant other, Kenny Slone, Wanda Bright and her significant other, Rick Hildreth, Mark Bright, and Mike Bright and his significant other, Jerri Preston, all of Marysville; and Loretta (Mike) Moss, Richwood; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and her sister, Donna (Junior) Jones, West Palm Beach, FL. Friends may call from 11-1 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville, where the funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Robert Jeffers will officiate and burial will take place at Hopewell Cemetery.
