Pamela Joy Blumenschein Pamela Joy Blumenschein, age 66, of Richwood died Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Milcrest Nursing Center. A loving homemaker, she formerly owned and operated Smokey's Restaurant in East Liberty where she was well known for her homemade pies. She had attended the West Mansfield Baptist Church and was a 1964 graduate of Buckeye Local High School. Pam was a longtime CB operator in her younger years with the handle of "Smokey" and enjoyed crocheting and playing euchre. More than anything, she treasured the love of her family. She was born April 27, 1946, in Kenton to the late Merrill M. and Pearl Gregory Poling. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Gregory Dale Blumenschein, and 2 brothers, Richard Poling and Robert Poling Survivors include her children Martin (Darlene) Blumenschein, Urbana; Randall Blumenschein, Scio; and Amanda Blumenschein, Canton; several grandchildren; 3 brothers, Stanley (Cindy) Poling, West Mansfield; Winston (Pam) Poling, Prospect; and her twin brother, Patrick (Joyce) Poling, West Mansfield; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Charles Blumenschein. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Mannasmith-Schnurrenberger Funeral Home, West Mansfield where the funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend William Snyder will officiate and burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery.
