Paul George Blumenschein Paul George Blumenschein, age 93, of Greenwood, Indiana, formerly of Milford Center, died Friday, August 26, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. He retired in 1979 after 29 years of dedicated service with White Westinghouse in Columbus. He was raised in the Lutheran faith and also attended the Milford Center Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching television, vegetable gardening, and spending time with his family and was anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandson, Autrey Tilson. He was born November 26, 1917 in Marysville to the late Emanuel and Margaret Fox Blumenschein. He married Ruby Swavel on May 19, 1952, in Marseilles, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on October 27, 1980. Survivors include 2 sons, Daniel Blumenschein, of the home; and Michael (Devonna) Blumenschein, Greenwood, IN; 3 Granddaughters, Amber (Jim) Onken, Ashley (Brad) Tilson, and Allison Blumenschein; 2 great-granddaughter, Jewels and Autumn Onken; a brother: Luther Blumenschein, Columbus; and a sister: Mildred Skidmore, Johnson City, TN. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2011, at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville, where the funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Reverend Barry Scott will officiate and burial will take place at Union Township Cemetery, Milford Center.
