Paul Richard Russell Paul Richard Russell, age 88, of North Lewisburg, formerly of Marysville, died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Heartland of Marysville after suffering a massive stroke one week ago. He was retired from International Harvester/Navistar after being employed there for over 30 years. He graduated from Rosedale High School in 1942, and proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II from February, 1943 to December, 1945. Paul enjoyed travelling and will be remembered as a thrifty shopper who was very generous and looked out for others in need. He was born November 7, 1923, near Urbana to the late Albert J. and Gladys Weaver Russell. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Gertrude Wilcox, Eletia Roberts, Winifred Gates, Erma Carrol, and Ethel Russell; and by 3 brothers, Norman Russell, Tony Russell, and Bruce Russell. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His nephew, Wayne Kessler, will conduct a graveside service on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Guy Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the Union County Honor Guard.
