Robin A. Cross-Clayton, 67, of East Liberty, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Ohio State University/Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. A 1967 graduate of Brookhaven High School in Columbus, she attended college in Oklahoma where she also lived for 20 years. An accomplished seamstress, Robin enjoyed reading, writing, genealogy and decorating, especially when it came to her home but she cherished being a homemaker and a grandma. Born April 3, 1949 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Robert R. and Virginia (Mayhugh) Cross and her mother survives in East Liberty. Also surviving is her son, Jimmy Clayton of Milford Center; grandchildren, Janie and Emily Clayton of Milford Center; her sisters, Diane Wallace of East Liberty and Brenda (Bart) Greene of Worthington; nieces, Tricia Cross of Columbus, Tara Wallace of Columbus and Jennifer Greene of Florida; a great nephew, Adam Alwawi and her previous husband and lifelong friend, Jim Clayton. A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, October 7, 2016 at the York Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, October 6, 2016 and from 12-1 P.M. prior to the service Friday at Wilson Funeral Home-Mannasmith Chapel.
