Rosemary Russell

Rosemary Russell, 87, of Raymond, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Rosemary was a homemaker and provided many fun filled memories for her family. She was very involved in any and all of her children's activities. A 1947 graduate of York Center High School, she was an active member of the Raymond United Methodist Church and member of the Eastern Star, the East Liberty Fern Chapter and later the Marysville Mary Chapter. Born July 19, 1928 in Logan County, she was the daughter of the late David La Gale and Eva (Hoover) Hogue. On June 8, 1947 in York Center she married James E. Russell and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2009. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jamie; a great grandson, Owen Vincent and sisters, Wilma Rowland, Eloise Shaw and Evadean Francis. Surviving are her children, Pam (Larry) Marshall of Raymond, Tom Russell of Kenton, Dixie Chapman of Marysville and Sandy (Jeff) Glasmeier of Marysville; grandchildren, Stephen D. (Jolene) Paver, Jr, Hollie (James) Moots, Carrie (Ronnie) Chapman, Dustin J. (Modesta) Barker, Joshua (Dinah) Barker, Lynn (Gary) Shaw, Tandy (Ed) Schaffer and Tina (Kenny) Spellman; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Robert (Alice) Russell and Grayce (Ralph) Klieber. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Raymond United Methodist Church with Reverend Brandi Rigsby and Reverend Doug Flinn officiating. Burial will follow at the York Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Mannasmith Funeral Home where Eastern Star Services will be held at 8:00 P.M.
