Russell Garey

Russell L. "Rusty" Garey Russell L. "Rusty" Garey, age 80, of Baltimore, Maryland, and formerly of Milford Center, died Friday, March 25, 2011, with his family at his side at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Rusty lived and worked most of his adult life in the Baltimore area. He was a 1948 graduate of Union Local High School where he played basketball and baseball and was a veteran of the US Army having served his country during the Korean War. Rusty took great pride in his family and coaching little league baseball. He was born June 11, 1930, in Warsaw, Ohio to the late Russell and Pearl Ervin Garey. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Shirley M. Garey. Survivors include his wife, Shirley L. Garey, Baltimore; his daughter, Shirell Paquette, Boston, MA; his brother, David (Jane) Garey, Plain City; his sister, Shirley (John) Stidam, Milford Center; and many nieces and nephews.
