S. Jean Bollinger, 86, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away peacefully, December 1, 2021 at Marion General Hospital.
Born October 22, 1935 in Prospect, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna Gebby. On August 12, 1960, she married her husband of over 52 years, Frank Bollinger and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2012.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Baker, and two brothers, Robert Gebby II and Rodney Gebby.
Jean is survived by her children, Pat (Phil) Stidham of Richwood, Ted (Kathy) Baker of St. Petersburg, FL: grandchildren, Stacey (Matt) Young of Marion, Beth (Ali) Ayesh, of Tampa, FL and Justin (Laura) Baker of St. Petersburg, FL; great grandchildren, Caleb Young, Charlotte and Maddy Baker, Mason and Abraham Ayesh: a sister Judy Washek- Keif and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She attended Johnsville High School in Johnsville, OH, worked for the Marion Police Department from 1963 to 1973 as a Meter Maid prior and later was the co-owner of Bollinger's Auto repair in St. Petersburg, FL along with her husband, Frank. She also started her own business, a consignment shop, One More Time.
A member of the Coast Guard and Faith Fellowship Church in St. Petersburg, FL, she enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends, traveling, and spending time with her children, and their families in Ohio and Florida. She loved to go fishing, boating and bowling with her husband.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Prospect Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson Funeral Home, Marysville.
