Sandra Diane Chappie-Slife

Sandra Diane (Wooley) Chappie-Slife, 70, of Marysville, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Born August 20, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Betty (McBride) Wooley. She first married Jack U. Chappie, who survives, and later married William Edgar Slife, and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by a sister, Sue (Wooley) Sullivan.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Tracy Reed and Tammarra Slife; a son, Travis Chappie; grandchildren, Tobias and his wife, Taylor (and their daughters, Amelia, Everleigh and Penelope), Tyler and his wife, Bree (and their daughters, Ensley and Alayna), Mariah and Averiana; a nephew, Michael Sullivan; along with numerous cousins and friends who will deeply miss her.

Having a love for animals, she rescued her dogs Bella, Bailey and Ebony. After her mother passed, she took in her Chihuahua, Precious, loving and caring for each and every one of them. Working most of her career in the manufacturing industry, she most recently worked at Lowe’s in Marysville.

Sandra faced many challenges in her life, especially when she was diagnosed with MS many years ago. Affecting her so much at times she would have to crawl from room to room in the house. With God’s blessings and the help of her doctors, she regained the use of her legs and continued to live life. Later in life she began to suffer from heart ailments which became too much to overcome.
