Stanley L. Leininger Stanley L. Leininger, 85, of rural Zanesfield, died Sunday, October 05, 2014 at his residence. Born May 30, 1929 in rural Huntsville, he was the son of the late Omer and Ila (Hughes) Leininger. On June 18, 1954 in East Liberty, he married C. Jean Kerr and survives in rural Zanesfield. Also surviving are his children, Richard (Brenda) Leininger of Martinsville, IN., Robert and John Leininger of Bellefontaine, Laura (William) Starkey of Columbus; grandchildren, Lisa, Alex and Mac; great granddaughters, Mariah and Cheyenne; a sister Donna Smith of West Mansfield and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Stanley was also preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Alex and Ethel Kerr; a sister, Virginia Elliott; brothers-in-law, James Elliott, Dana Smith and Robert McCracken and sister-in-law Janet McCracken. A 1947 Graduate of East Liberty High School and lifetime farmer, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 745 and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2014 at the East Liberty Cemetery with Reverend Doug Thompson of the West Mansfield United Methodist Church officiating. Military Rites will be observed at the cemetery by the Logan County Veterans Association. Friends may call from 1:00-2:30 P.M. Friday at the Mannasmith-Schnurrenberger Funeral Home 222 West Center St., West Mansfield, OH.
