Steven Walker

Steven Walker, 63, of Ostrander, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Ohio State University Hospital East following a brief illness.

A loving husband, dad and papa, Steve was known for his humor and will be remembered for his strong work ethic and resilient spirit. A graduate of Westerville North High School, he was the owner and operator of SG Walker & Sons Roofing and Remodeling. He will be deeply missed and loved forever by his family.

Born June 24, 1959 in Fort Jackson, NC, he was the son of William and Shirley (Waers) Walker. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Kim Brown.

On December 20, 1986 he married his wife of over 36 years, Deborah A. (Miller) Walker, and she survives in Ostrander. Steve is also survived by his sons, Justin (Juliana) Walker of Ostrander and Brandon (Jada) Walker of Seattle, WA; a daughter, Stephanie (Kyle Doubikin) Walker of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Jaden, Branson, Merritt and one on the way; brothers, Bill (Sue) Walker of Hudsonville, MI and Mike (Cathy) Walker of Little Rock, AR; a sister, Carol Parker of Massillon; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many other extended family and friends.

Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel 621 W. Fifth St. Marysville. Funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 6:00 P.M. Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Oakdale Cemetery.
