Virginia Lee Kenison, 75, of Columbus and formerly of Marysville, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Wesley Glen in Columbus surrounded by her dear friends. A 1957 graduate of Dublin High School, she attended Olivet Nazarene College in Bourbonnais, IL. Virginia formerly worked at Harding Sanitarium, Riverside Methodist Hospital and Luebbe Hearing Service. She enjoyed knitting and making jewelry, but most of all she loved being around people and with her friends socializing. She attended the Meadow Park Church of God in Columbus. Born June 12, 1940 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Lowell and Elsie Elizabeth (Hambrick) Trees. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keven and a sister, Iris Ault. Surviving are her children, Thomas H. (Kevin) Kenison II of Seattle, WA and Kimberlee (Michael) Carpenter of Cincinnati; 4 grandchildren, a great grandchild and far too many close friends to mention. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Rd. Columbus. Pastor Lee Brown will officiate. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the church. Committal service will be held Monday at 2:30 P.M. in the Oakdale Cemetery, Marysville. Arrangements are being handled by Mannasmith Funeral Home, 621 W. Fifth St. Marysville.
